Default Pro Mods testing in Florida

A handful of Pro Modified teams are in Badenton, Fla., this weekend getting in some test time before their respective season openers in March.

Shannon Jenkins posted a 3.86 elapsed time at 194 miles per hour with his Reher-Morrison-powered, Speedtech Pro Nitrous Camaro

Pat Musi because the first to drive an electronic fuel injected, nitrous doorslammer into the five second zone. Musi, using his 903 cubic inch engine between the fenders of his new Jerry Bickel Dodge Stratus, ran a 5.997 at 236 miles per hour.

Also on hand making test laps is the new two-car team of Rickie Smith and Troy Coughlin. Both cars are running new Sonny's Racing engines.
